Hunting Fishing Why do I get so many thumbs down when I answer Hunting and Fishing questions?
I'm just curious? I'm not upset, it's just that my whole life guys have been attracted to me, then when we start talking they find out that my passions are guns, hunting, and fishing and they're turned off. I'm not a girlie girl. I can wear makeup, dresses, and heels to work during the week and camo gear on the weekend right? I love to talk about guns! Am I that weird?

Me, single guy, Been looking for a single lady with similar interests all my life. Where have you been? I think it is great that you like to answer questions that are your passion. I don't know why some guys are turned off by a woman who likes to hunt, fish and loves the outdoors. I would have to say I was almost turned on when I read your question. I respect anyone who likes the outdoors as much as I do. It is a life that all of us can enjoy and share with others who are willing to experience it. There is so much to learn about the outdoors, I don't think anyone can ever know it all. As long as you like what you do when you are out of doors and respect the wildlife and the surroundings, etc, and eat what you shoot, that is all that matters. I think you should enjoy it right along with us guys. Have you ever tried turkey hunting? Now there is a sport you might have to try if you haven't. Case knives are made in the USA. But I don't believe they have one with the gut hook design. Some Buck knives are made in the USA but the last couple I bought were made in China. Camo patterns are mostly hype. They look neat and usually work, but one does not work any better than the other. I can still remember when there were only 3 or 4 patterns available. My success rate is still equal to the good old days. Basically movement is more important than camo patterns. If you like the way a pattern looks, then go for it. I can guarantee it will not be any better or worse than the next newest pattern that comes out.

Please do not pretend to be lost in a National Park/Forest, this just places a needless strain on a budget that is already overstretched. Personnel waste their time and possibly endanger themselves looking for some one who is not even lost. You think you have the courage to go and starve to death in the wilderness but you don't have the courage to face up to your problems. People who go into the wilderness to runaway from their problems just find out that they just have a whole new set of problems.
Surviving in the wilderness is about solving problems, if you can't solve problems here why do you think you will be able to there where the stakes are life and death and you are in a totally unfamiliar environment.
Hint: A Greyhound Bus can take you to a border town and with all of your wilderness experience I'm sure you can find a way to travel cross country across the border. Buy life insurance before you leave.
