We have refinished our kitchen table and applied a satin finish polyurethane. That is what we had around the house. When I got it on the table I realized it's not as shiny as I wanted it to be so can I spray a lacquer on top of it and it be good enough to use as a dinning table, I want to be safe.
if you want to keep the Wood Grain just ad a couple of gloss polyurethane over the satin it will look fine :0)
